Artist's Comments
This is a windmill on the way to Ely and I was commissioned to draw it by the owners friend as a gift, shortly after the sails were fixed to the building. It was a dark building but their bright red front door really stood out, so I thought I'd colour it in the drawing along with red metal discs on its exterior walls. I lightly coloured the flower pots with a brown ink as well. When I went there to hand the drawing over, I was invited in and the interior was quite stunning.
